1. General

This policy applies to personal information processed through the SR International website, including sr-kc.com and its locale paths. A project-specific notice or consent form may also apply where provided.

2. Information we collect

The public website has no embedded inquiry form. If you contact us by email or phone, your sender information and inquiry may be received through our communication channels.

The online travel research survey at /elong collects participation consent, name or nickname, gender, location, age, education and occupation-related responses, travel experience and preferences, contact telephone number and email address, survey responses, and submission time.

  • A restricted report feature uses a cookie to maintain access authorization.
  • A survey duplicate-submission safeguard stores a device-lock value in browser localStorage.
  • Vercel Web Analytics may process aggregated page-view, path, referrer, country/region-level location, device, and browser information.

3. Purposes of processing

We use information only as needed to respond to business inquiries, assess potential collaboration, screen and contact research participants, operate research results, protect restricted reports, and improve website operations through aggregated analysis.

4. Retention period

We delete personal information without delay after the purpose has been achieved. Inquiry records are retained only as necessary for handling the inquiry and responding to disputes. Survey responses and contact details are deleted or anonymized within one year after the relevant research and follow-up contact are completed.

Records subject to a legal retention obligation are kept for the applicable statutory period. The restricted-report cookie expires after up to 30 days. The survey device-lock value remains until browser storage is cleared or the feature is changed.

5. Disclosure to third parties

We do not sell or disclose personal information to third parties unless required by law or supported by separate consent. If a project host or joint operator must receive information, we will provide a separate notice and obtain consent where required.

6. Service providers

The following providers may process information when configured for the deployed service. Actual use depends on the deployment environment.

  • Vercel Inc.: website hosting and Web Analytics
  • Supabase or a PostgreSQL-based database: survey-response storage, when configured
  • Resend: survey-submission notification emails, when configured

7. International processing

When Vercel Web Analytics is enabled, analytics data may be processed through Vercel Inc. infrastructure outside your country. As implemented here, Vercel Analytics is used as a cookie-free aggregated analytics service; it does not store identifiers that identify a person or track them across websites.

Supabase, PostgreSQL, and Resend may process data through overseas providers or regions when configured. The country or region follows the selected service configuration and processing is limited to the period needed to provide and secure the service. Contact us using the details below for questions about international processing.

8. Cookies and analytics

We do not set first-party tracking cookies on ordinary public pages. The restricted report uses the gnt_report_access cookie solely to check access authorization, with httpOnly and sameSite settings.

Vercel Web Analytics aggregates page views without cookies. Please do not place personal information in URL query parameters. The survey device lock is stored in localStorage and can be cleared in browser settings.

9. Your rights and how to exercise them

You may request access, correction, deletion, suspension of processing, or withdrawal of consent. Send a request with the minimum information needed to verify your identity by email or phone; we will respond in line with applicable procedures and time limits.

Survey participants may also ask to withdraw or delete a submitted response. A request may be limited where a legal retention duty or protection of another person’s rights applies.

10. Destruction of personal information

When retention ends or the purpose is complete, electronic records are deleted in a manner that makes recovery impracticable and printed records are shredded or destroyed. Information that must be retained by law is stored separately.

11. Security measures

We apply reasonable technical and administrative measures, including access controls, administrator-password checks, an httpOnly authorization cookie for restricted reports, and deployment security settings for protected transmission. No internet transmission or user device can be made completely risk-free.

12. Privacy contact

For privacy questions, requests to access, correct, or delete information, or complaints, contact hbshin@sr-kc.com / 010-6405-6384. The responsible organization is SR International Inc.

13. Remedies

For guidance or reports concerning privacy violations in Korea, you may contact the Personal Information Infringement Report Center (privacy.kisa.or.kr, 118), the Personal Information Dispute Mediation Committee (kopico.go.kr, 1833-6972), or the Korean National Police cybercrime reporting system (ecrm.police.go.kr).

14. Changes to this policy

We will post the effective date and material changes on this page. Changes that materially affect rights will be announced with reasonable advance notice.

15. Effective date

This policy takes effect on 15 July 2026.
